We woke up and got out of bed to have breakfast. It was cold and rainy. We went for a walk to the shop and then came back and Erin, Claire and I had a quick play on the playground across from our camper while Mum and Dad packed up. They called us over to help and we learnt how to pack up the cords and hoses. We hooked the camper up and went to have a look around Alice Springs. We drove up Anzac Hill to look at the view of Alice Springs. We just took a quick photo and left because it was raining. We went and looked at some of the shops in town and a shopkeeper gave us each a bracelet with the aboriginal flag on it and then went to McDonald's to buy chips for lunch. We couldn't find a parking spot so we parked a long way away. Daddy went to buy our lunch but he got lost. When he got back he was soaking wet.
We started to drive and I fell asleep. Mum and Daddy said we passed the Tropic of Capricorn (Daddy tried to explain what that is, but I didn't understand a word of it.) We stopped a few times to feed Molly and go to the toilet and then got to Wycliffe Well which is the U.F.O. capital of Australia. U.F.O. stands for Unidentified Flying Object which could be a weather balloon, a meteorite, a plane, a flying saucer or a person with a jet-pack. There is a U.F.O Centre that we will see in the morning, but right now I am getting very silly and have to go to bed before Mummy snaps. (that last line was written by Mummy by the way.)

Yesterday (Friday) we woke up and went to have a look at the aliens. We had a picture with Hulk and then we went to have a look at the shop. On the way we saw a family of three aliens and their spaceship. When we went into the shop we saw wild snakes in jars. There were lots of stories on the wall about people seeing U.F.Os. There was lots of Aboriginal art as well. We went back to the camper and drove off to Daly Waters.
As we drove it got hotter and hotter and hotter. The sun came and out and there was no more rain and clouds. When we got to close to where we were stopping we saw lots of kangaroos and wallabies. They were hopping across the road. When we stopped to look at one tiny one, it hopped right up to the car to say hello. When we got here we got a camping spot and set up the camper. Then we had dinner outside and went to bed.
This morning we have been playing outside in the dirt and eating pancakes for breakfast. Soon we are driving to Mataranka after we check out Daly Waters pub.
Hannah that's awesome about the tiny kangaroo/wallaby - too cute!!
